I've been interested in dividend reinvestment programs for a few years now and am an active DRIPper in number of Canadian and American companies, using both synthetic and real DRIPS, as well as SPPs. I have learned a fair bit over the years...dos and don'ts, and will try to share some of this in this blog over time. My challenge right now is trying to "clear my plate" of other activities so that I can dedicate more time to writing for this blog.

Is it really possible to read to much about personal finance?!?!? At present, I spend between 10-15 hours a week reading up on personal finance... some blogs, some books, some periodicals. Knowledge is power, so personally, I don't think it is possible to read too much, to ask too many questions or to discover too be too knowledgeable on any topic.

DCDRiPpy Chickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01029442267587301786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1118946525967506123.post-10986570178615311362008-03-31T00:58:00.000-04:002008-03-31T00:58:00.000-04:00*SIGH* When I saw "DRIPpy Chick" I thought about d...*SIGH* When I saw "DRIPpy Chick" I thought about dividend reinvestment plans before I thought about sex (and I didn't think of humble beginnings or building things at all).

I've been reading too much about personal finance...

Do you own any DRIPs, or are you just thinking about getting into them?John Champaignhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14502724381002990745noreply@blogger.com
